Hello Games continues to expand the universe of No Man's Sky with the release of Forsaken, a free update available now on PC and consoles. This latest addition introduces new activities, spacecraft customization options, and gameplay improvements designed to give explorers more freedom as they travel across the galaxy.
One of the update's main attractions is the introduction of abandoned merchants who can be summoned at remote space outposts. These mysterious traders offer access to a unique selection of Corvette modules, opening up additional possibilities for spacecraft customization. Players can also take on a new role as interstellar couriers, completing delivery missions that involve transporting valuable packages across space.
Spacecraft enthusiasts will find more ways to experiment with Corvette configurations, including the opportunity to create a frightening biomechanical ship. Interstellar navigation has also received an improvement, allowing pilots to initiate warp travel by flying directly toward stars visible in the sky. This feature makes moving between star systems more intuitive and enhances the overall exploration experience.
Beyond these additions, Forsaken introduces a radial weapon selection menu for faster access to equipment, alongside an optional minimalist interface for players who prefer a cleaner display. Hello Games has also made new music from the previous Cosmos update available through digital streaming platforms, giving fans another way to enjoy the game's atmospheric soundtrack outside the universe of No Man's Sky.
