IO Interactive has expanded 007 First Light with Extended Operations, a free DLC introducing several new ways to revisit James Bond's latest gaming adventure. Available from October 1, 2026, the update adds New Game Plus and Photo Mode, giving players additional reasons to return after completing the main campaign. The DLC also brings two new playable activities, Valhalla Protocol and Jungle Heist, alongside extra weapons and outfits that can be unlocked as players progress.

Extended Operations builds on the post-launch content already introduced through the game's Tactical Simulation mode. Earlier in July, IO Interactive released The Workshop and Extraction Avenues, two Escalation-style challenges divided into three difficulty tiers. Completing objectives and increasing the required clearance level allowed players to spend earned Intel on additional equipment, weapons and cosmetic rewards, including the Diamond in the Rough outfit.

Developed and published by IO Interactive, 007 First Light presents an original interpretation of James Bond before he becomes the legendary 007 known around the world. The story follows a younger and less experienced Bond during his recruitment into MI6, portraying him as a talented but occasionally impulsive operative still learning how to operate within the intelligence service. His assignments take him across several international locations, including Iceland, Malta and Mauritania.

007 First Light is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch 2 edition is also in development and is scheduled to launch in March 2027. With Extended Operations being distributed for free, IO Interactive is continuing to add replay-focused features and additional missions to the game following its initial release.
