Epic Games is bringing the world of One Piece into Fortnite Battle Royale with a major crossover arriving on November 1, 2026. The collaboration will be part of the upcoming "Treasure Hunters" season, introducing characters and elements inspired by Eiichiro Oda's legendary manga and anime franchise. A newly released trailer has confirmed the appearance of several familiar faces, including Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, and Buggy the Clown.

The promotional footage also features the Going Merry, the iconic ship used by the Straw Hat Pirates during their early adventures. Adding an unexpected twist to the pirate theme, Hatsune Miku appears in a special pirate-inspired outfit. Epic Games has further expanded the character lineup through an official promotional illustration featuring Nico Robin and Portgas D. Ace. The reveal follows a mysterious six-second teaser released earlier in the week, which showed the Going Merry emerging from the fog beneath a moonlit sky.

Anime collaborations have become an important part of Fortnite's crossover strategy. Naruto Shippuden introduced the game's first major Weekly Shonen Jump partnership in 2021, followed by Dragon Ball and My Hero Academia in 2022. Other popular franchises, including Attack on Titan, Cowboy Bebop, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, and Black Clover, have also made their way into the battle royale experience. The Black Clover collaboration was introduced during the Fortnitemares event in October 2026.

The arrival of One Piece comes during another significant period for the franchise. The anime's Elbaph arc began airing in Japan on April 5, 2026, with Crunchyroll handling international streaming. Additional episodes are scheduled to arrive in 2027. With Fortnite's new pirate-themed season approaching, the collaboration brings together two globally recognized entertainment franchises, giving players another opportunity to experience the One Piece universe beyond its traditional anime and manga formats.
