The upcoming anime adaptation of Bless is preparing for its television debut, with a newly released full-length trailer offering a closer look at its characters, animation, and artistic direction. Based on Yukino Sonoyama's manga, the series is scheduled to premiere on January 8, 2027, at 11:30 p.m. JST during Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block. The promotional footage also introduces a preview of "New Page," the ending theme performed by HIKKA. Crunchyroll has confirmed that it will distribute the anime internationally, with Japan and China excluded from its streaming territories.

At the heart of Bless is a story that challenges conventional beauty standards through the experiences of two young individuals searching for their own identities. Aia Udagawa has spent much of his life being told that his appearance makes him suitable for modeling, while Jun Sumisaki has endured criticism and bullying because of her freckles. Their encounter opens the door to a different understanding of ambition, self-expression, and personal worth. Set against the competitive world of fashion and beauty, the narrative explores the tension between natural talent, dedication, and the expectations imposed by society.

Animation studio A-1 Pictures is overseeing the adaptation, with Shōtarō Kitamura directing and Takayuki Kikuchi serving as assistant director. Fukurou Kamiza is responsible for the series composition and scripts, while Honoka Yokoyama handles character designs and serves as chief animation director alongside Tetsuya Kawakami and Reina Iwasaki. Ryō Yoshimata is composing the soundtrack. The principal voice cast includes Tomohiro Ōno as Aia Udagawa, Chiyuki Miura as Jun Sumisaki, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Ginga Yoyogi, and Yoshino Aoyama as Oroka Sumeragi, supported by several other established performers.

Originally introduced in Kodansha's Shonen Magazine Edge in 2022, Bless subsequently moved to Monthly Shonen Sirius, where its serialization continues. The manga has surpassed 1.25 million copies in circulation, with its ninth collected volume released in Japan on October 8, 2026. Kodansha USA Publishing handles the English edition, while digital chapters are also available through K MANGA. Beyond the television anime, the franchise is expanding into live action, with a separate series scheduled to arrive exclusively on Amazon Prime Video worldwide in spring 2027.
