The upcoming TV anime BLESS is officially set to premiere in January 2027 as part of Fuji TV’s popular Noitamina programming block. Alongside the broadcast announcement, the production team unveiled the first teaser visual, two character-focused promotional videos, and the names of the actors who will bring the series’ central duo to life.

Tomohiro Ono will voice the protagonist Aia Udagawa, a former model who has left the runway behind to pursue his ambition of becoming a professional makeup artist. Chiyuki Miura has been cast as Jun Sumizaki, a young woman fascinated by the world of modeling. Their contrasting dreams form the emotional foundation of BLESS, which follows the pair as they move through the demanding worlds of fashion, beauty and personal ambition.

Two separate character trailers, one dedicated to Aia and the other to Jun, offer the first opportunity to hear their voices while showcasing scenes from the anime itself. The newly released teaser visual also places Jun in the spotlight, highlighting an elaborate and colorful eye makeup look created by Aia, reinforcing the series’ strong focus on visual expression and creativity.

A-1 Pictures is handling animation production, with Shotaro Kitamura directing the series. Fukuro Ueza is responsible for series composition and scripts, Honoka Yokoyama serves as character designer, and Ryo Yoshimata is composing the music. With an established studio and a creative premise centered on fashion and self-expression, BLESS will make its television debut in Japan in early 2027.
