Ace of Diamond Act II Second Season is officially preparing to step back onto the field with the second part of its current season. A new promotional video has been released to introduce the upcoming episodes, confirming that the anime will resume its broadcast on October 11 in Japan. The series will air on TV Tokyo and its affiliated channels at 5:30 p.m. JST, followed by an AT-X broadcast later that evening. Netflix will also stream the new episodes in Japan shortly after their television broadcast.

The returning episodes will continue the latest chapter of Seidou High School’s baseball journey, with the main voice cast reprising their roles. The production will also introduce Daisuke Sakuma as Shinichiro Saotome, a character associated with Inashiro High School. Behind the scenes, Hideaki Ōba continues as director at OLM, while Kenji Konuta remains responsible for series composition. Yasukazu Shōji handles the character designs, and Hajime Hyakkoku once again provides the music for the anime.

The newly released trailer also offers a preview of the music accompanying the second part of the season. Japanese rock band GLAY performs the new opening theme, “NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN,” while OxT, the duo formed by Masayoshi Ōishi and Tom-H@ck, is responsible for the ending theme “ROAD TO BE BLUE.” The songs accompany new footage from the series, giving viewers an early glimpse at the matches and developments awaiting the characters when the anime returns.

Created by Yūji Terajima, Ace of Diamond has grown into one of the most established modern baseball manga franchises since its debut in 2006. The original manga concluded after 47 volumes, while Ace of Diamond Act II ran from 2015 until 2022 and reached 34 volumes. The property has inspired several television anime productions and stage adaptations, with the current season continuing a story that has been brought to screens in different forms since the first anime premiered in 2013.
