Haikyu!! Returns to Ootoya for a New Food Collaboration

Haikyu!! is teaming up with Japanese restaurant chain Ootoya once again for a second limited-time collaboration, bringing several fan-favorite volleyball players to the table with exclusive meals, collectibles and newly illustrated artwork. Running in Japan from October 8 to November 23, 2026, the campaign will focus on six second-year students from different schools: Yu Nishinoya, Kenma Kozume, Kenji Futakuchi, Keiji Akaashi, Atsumu Miya and Korai Hoshiumi.

The collaboration will be divided into two menu periods. From October 8 to October 28, customers will be able to order special meals inspired by Karasuno, Nekoma and Kamomedai High Schools, each priced at 1,880 yen including tax. Every qualifying order will include one randomly selected holographic postcard featuring exclusive collaboration artwork, with six designs available. A second menu lineup will follow from October 29 to November 23, this time highlighting Date Tech, Fukurodani Academy and Inarizaki High School. These meals will also cost 1,880 yen and will include one of six randomly distributed character stickers. A special captain-themed dessert plate priced at 680 yen will remain available throughout the entire event.

Fans looking for collectibles will also find a dedicated merchandise lineup featuring acrylic stands, holographic badges, double acrylic charms inspired by cooking utensils and miso soup, a clear file and a rice-themed pouch with an acrylic charm. The products will be available at participating locations as well as through Ootoya's online store from October 8 until November 24. Selected restaurants will receive additional Haikyu!! decorations, including character panels, wall displays and specially designed window graphics.

The campaign will extend beyond the restaurants with several digital bonuses. Ootoya will organize an official X giveaway offering ten winners a complete set of six large acrylic stands, while its mobile application will distribute a Haikyu!! coupon allowing customers to upgrade to a larger serving of rice for free. A promotional video featuring Yu Nishinoya, voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto, is also planned. With themed food, exclusive artwork and limited-edition merchandise, the second Haikyu!! x Ootoya collaboration gives fans another way to experience the series outside the volleyball court.
