Kyoto Animation has unveiled a final trailer celebrating 11 years of Sound! Euphonium, offering fans one last look at the franchise as its anime journey approaches its conclusion. The new promotional video includes previously unseen footage from Sound! Euphonium: The Final Movie Part 2, which is currently screening in Japanese cinemas. The theatrical project brings Kumiko Oumae and the members of the Kitauji High School concert band back for the decisive stage of their story, with the National Competition and the pursuit of a gold medal at the center of the finale.

The Final Movie serves as the definitive conclusion to an anime series that has followed its characters through years of friendship, rivalry, personal growth and musical ambition. Rather than simply reproducing material from the television adaptation, the theatrical version expands the story with newly created sequences and musical performances that were not shown in the TV series. The screenplay was newly written by Jukki Hanada, giving the production additional material specifically designed for its cinematic presentation.

Taichi Ogawa directs the concluding film, while longtime franchise director Tatsuya Ishihara oversees the project as Chief Director. Kyoto Animation once again handles animation production, with Shoko Ikeda and Kazumi Ikeda credited for character design and Akito Matsuda returning to compose the music. The extensive voice cast also reunites familiar performers, including Tomoyo Kurosawa as Kumiko Oumae, Chika Anzai as Reina Kousaka, Ayaka Asai as Hazuki Kato and Moeka Toyota as Sapphire Kawashima.

Sound! Euphonium began its animated journey more than a decade ago and has since become one of Kyoto Animation's most recognizable productions. Following the conclusion of Sound! Euphonium 3 in 2024, the Final Movie project was created to provide the story with a theatrical send-off. With its last trailer now released, the franchise is celebrating its history while preparing to close Kumiko's high school journey on the biggest stage the series has ever given her.
