The ONE PIECE TV anime has officially wrapped up its 2026 broadcast schedule, with fans now having to wait until 2027 to discover the next chapters of the Straw Hat crew's journey. New episodes are confirmed to return next year as the highly anticipated Elbaph Arc continues. For the moment, Toei Animation has not revealed a precise broadcast date, with additional information expected to be announced at a later stage.

The temporary pause comes as ONE PIECE remains one of the most influential entertainment franchises to emerge from Japan. More than 26 years after the anime first premiered on television in 1999, Eiichiro Oda's universe has expanded far beyond its original manga and animated series. The franchise now includes 15 feature films, numerous video games, a successful trading card game, collectibles, apparel, toys and a wide range of collaborations and licensed products around the world.

The manga itself has surpassed 510 million copies in worldwide circulation, reinforcing ONE PIECE's position among the most successful manga series ever published.
