Sifu is preparing to expand to smartphones, with developer Sloclap confirming that its acclaimed martial arts action game will launch on iOS and Android on October 12, 2026. The mobile release brings the complete experience to portable devices, allowing players to take on the game's demanding combat encounters and revenge-driven story without relying on a console or PC. The new version has been specifically adapted for touchscreen devices while retaining support for traditional controllers.

Originally released across PC and consoles, Sifu has built its reputation around precise hand-to-hand combat inspired by Pak-Mei Kung Fu. Players follow a young martial artist hunting down those responsible for the murder of his family. Death does not immediately end the journey thanks to a mysterious amulet capable of reviving the protagonist, but every return comes at a cost as the character progressively ages. This mechanic directly influences progression and forces players to approach each confrontation with greater discipline.

Combat remains focused on timing, positioning and environmental awareness. Enemies attack aggressively rather than waiting for individual turns, requiring players to dodge, parry, counter and combine different techniques while moving through locations ranging from nightclubs and galleries to large office buildings. Objects found throughout the environment can also become valuable weapons or tactical tools, while new abilities can be unlocked as players improve their mastery of the fighting system.

For the mobile edition, Sloclap has redesigned several elements to make the experience more comfortable on smaller screens. The game features dedicated touch controls, contextual interactions and an adjusted camera system, alongside full controller compatibility. The complete story campaign is included and has been optimized for mobile play. With Sifu already available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch, its October 12 release will bring the martial arts title to an even wider range of devices.
