Shueisha is changing the editorial structure surrounding several of its digital manga titles. On September 30, 2026, the editorial team behind Shonen Jump+ confirmed the end of its outsourced collaboration with Mix Green, the company founded by veteran manga editor Shihei Lin. The decision means that Mix Green will no longer provide editorial services to Shonen Jump+ under its previous arrangement. However, the publisher confirmed that the affected series will continue publication through a reorganized editorial system.

The announcement does not mean that Lin is stepping away from every manga he currently oversees. Later that same day, he clarified that Mix Green has separate direct agreements covering four major series. The company will therefore remain involved in the editorial management of Tatsuya Endo's SPY×FAMILY, Yukinobu Tatsu's Dandadan, Tohru Kuramori's Centuria and Hakuri's WITCHRIV. These titles are consequently expected to continue working with Lin and his team despite the end of the broader Shonen Jump+ outsourcing agreement.

Lin established Mix Green after building a long career at Shueisha. He joined the publisher in 2006 and remained there until August 2022, before continuing his editorial activities independently. During his years at Shueisha, he became closely associated with several internationally successful manga, including Chainsaw Man, SPY×FAMILY and Dandadan, working alongside some of the creators who would later become major names in the industry.

Mix Green has also been expanding beyond traditional freelance editorial work. On April 17, 2026, the company launched its own manga platform and began accepting submissions directly from creators. The end of its outsourcing relationship with Shonen Jump+ therefore marks a significant change in its connection with Shueisha, while its direct work on several prominent manga and the development of its own publishing platform are set to continue.
