One-Punch Man is preparing for its next major battle, with the second part of Season 3 now officially scheduled for January 2027. Bandai Namco Filmworks confirmed the release window through a newly released trailer, offering fans an early look at what awaits Saitama and the Hero Association. The footage also confirms the return of JAM Project, who will perform the new opening theme, "Never Done - SUPREME POWER VS ULTIMATE FEAR -." A fresh key visual has also been unveiled alongside the announcement.
The third season initially returned in October 2025, beginning with a recap episode before the first new episode aired one week later. Depending on the region, the series has been available through platforms including Hulu, Disney+, Netflix and Crunchyroll. The new January 2027 broadcast will continue the events of the current season, with the production once again handled by J.C. Staff, the studio responsible for the second season. Madhouse previously produced the anime's acclaimed first season in 2015.
Shinpei Nagai is directing Season 3 at J.C. Staff, while Tomohiro Suzuki continues to supervise the scripts. Chikashi Kubota returns as character designer and is joined by Shinjiro Kuroda and Ryōsuke Shirakawa. Sakura Murakami serves as art director, with Yuki Hirose overseeing photography. Several other veteran staff members are also back, including editor Masahiro Gotō, sound director Yoshikazu Iwanami and composer Makoto Miyazaki.
One-Punch Man began its television anime run in October 2015, adapting the manga created by ONE and illustrated by Yūsuke Murata. The second season followed in April 2019, before the franchise eventually returned with its third season in 2025. With Part 2 now confirmed for January 2027 and JAM Project once again providing the opening theme, the anime is preparing to continue one of its largest storylines yet.
