After several months of rumors, leaks, and speculation surrounding Grand Theft Auto 6, Rockstar Games has finally made the details regarding pre-orders and the prices of the game’s different editions official. Pre-orders for GTA 6 will open at midnight on June 25, marking another major milestone in the anticipation surrounding one of the video game industry’s most closely watched titles.

According to the details shared by Rockstar, the standard edition of GTA 6 will be priced at $79.99. The Ultimate Edition, meanwhile, will sell for $99.99 and include several additional pieces of content. Players will notably be able to enjoy premium vehicles, exclusive weapons, special outfits, and other bonuses integrated directly into the game.

This announcement puts an end to the numerous debates surrounding a possible price increase for GTA 6 beyond the usual price of recent AAA productions. While the $70 price point has gradually become established in the market, Rockstar is confirming a higher price here for the standard edition. A choice that is sure to reignite discussions surrounding the price of major gaming blockbusters.

Rockstar also provided details on the download arrangements for the digital versions. Players who pre-order GTA 6 will be able to preload the game starting November 12, 2026, one week before its scheduled release on November 19. The physical versions will also be available starting November 12, but they will not contain a disc: the boxes will include only download codes to be used on the relevant platforms.
