Perfect World Games and Hotta Studio have officially announced the release date for Neverness to Everness (NTE), their new open-world RPG with an anime aesthetic and supernatural elements. The launch will begin in China on April 23, on Windows PC, Mac, and PS5 as well as smartphones, before arriving worldwide on April 29. Mobile players can already pre-register on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play), getting ready for the servers to open.

The game takes us to Hethereau, a dazzling metropolis where the paranormal is part of everyday life. You play as the city's first unlicensed Anomaly Hunter, taking on odd jobs from Eibon, a run-down antique shop repurposed as a base for occult missions. As you work through contracts, you team up with an extraordinary group of companions ready to untangle urban mysteries and raise the tension in the neon-lit streets.

As for its promises, NTE focuses on a living city to explore freely, from bustling markets and campuses to high-speed drives. Progression also looks ambitious, with the possibility of building your empire from nothing and eventually reaching penthouse-level heights overlooking the skyline. Recruiting characters with a variety of supernatural powers should add depth to the battles, while hunting anomalies—cursed objects, blue flames, and urban legends brought to life—will drive the adventure.
