Skydance Games has officially announced that Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra has now been postponed indefinitely, with no new release date. This action-adventure game, set during World War II, was initially scheduled for release in early 2026, but the developers have decided to delay its launch in order to refine their vision for the project. This delay, the second so far, casts doubt on the release schedule and the platforms involved.

The studio says it wants to deliver a high-quality experience that remains faithful to the Marvel universe and players’ expectations. According to Skydance, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is a particularly ambitious project that requires more time to reach the desired level of excellence. The team says it is grateful for the community’s support and promises to share more information as development progresses.

In the meantime, fans will have to be patient before discovering what promises to be a live-action video game combining narrative intensity with historical depth. No new release window has been announced for this much-anticipated remake.
