The studio behind Solo Leveling has shared a new six-minute gameplay sequence dedicated to ARISE OVERDRIVE. This version, scheduled to launch on PC via Steam and Xbox on November 17, 2025, sets itself apart from its predecessors with its standalone approach. Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles will nevertheless have to wait until 2026 to receive the title, a sign of a staggered but carefully planned release schedule.

Producer Kim Gwang Hoon clarified that this project should not be confused with Solo Leveling: ARISE. ARISE OVERDRIVE is designed as a separate adventure with its own identity, while the original game will continue to receive updates and regular support. This separation aims to offer players two parallel experiences, each evolving at its own pace.

Finally, the universe remains closely connected to the hero Sung Jinwoo, the central protagonist of the adapted anime and manga. Known as “the weakest hunter in the world,” he survives a deadly confrontation in a high-ranking dungeon and is granted a mysterious program, the System, which allows him to grow stronger without limits. Now, his journey leads him to uncover the secrets of his powers and explore the origins of the dungeons, further fueling anticipation for this new installment.
