My Happy Marriage is preparing to return with additional content as three brand-new special episodes are scheduled to arrive on Netflix on October 25, 2026. Ahead of their release, the production team has unveiled a new finale visual highlighting the series as it approaches this special continuation. The announcement gives fans another reason to revisit the romantic fantasy anime, which has become one of Netflix’s notable Japanese animation titles in recent years.

The upcoming episodes will once again feature the anime’s established voice cast. Reina Ueda returns as Miyo Saimori, while Kaito Ishikawa reprises his role as Kiyoka Kudo. Other returning performers include Ayane Sakura as Kaya Saimori, Kōtarō Nishiyama as Kōji Tatsuishi, Houko Kuwashima as Yurie, Hiro Shimono as Yoshito Godō and Ryōhei Kimura as Arata Tsuruki. Yōko Hikasa, Ryōtarō Okiayu, Kikuko Inoue, Yūya Uchida, Haruka Tomatsu and M.A.O are also part of the cast.

The anime is based on the successful light novel series created by Akumi Agitogi, with illustrations by Tsukiho Tsukioka. The franchise has surpassed nine million copies in circulation, confirming its popularity well beyond the anime adaptation. Yen Press publishes the novels in English, while Netflix continues to serve as the main international streaming platform for the animated series.

At the heart of My Happy Marriage is Miyo, a young woman born into a prestigious family known for supernatural abilities but raised in an abusive household after losing her mother. Her life changes when she is arranged to marry Kiyoka Kudo, a military commander feared for his cold reputation. What initially appears to be another cruel turn in Miyo’s life gradually develops into a relationship built on trust, healing and genuine affection. The three new specials are expected to offer fans another opportunity to explore that relationship and the world surrounding the couple.
