As 2025 draws to a close, Solo Leveling is celebrating one final achievement in terms of hype and viewership figures. According to data highlighted on Crunchyroll’s official YouTube channel, the fight between Sung Jinwoo and the Ant King (Season 2, Episode 12) is the most-watched anime battle of 2025 on the platform. In nine months, this intensely high-octane scene has surpassed 30 million views, confirming that the series has become one of the biggest heavyweights of the moment.
This duel, titled “Are You the King of Humans?”, begins as a brutal exchange before escalating into a spectacular showdown, very much in the spirit of a “big shōnen,” to the point of evoking the intensity of Dragon Ball Z. And despite fierce competition and historic franchises that continue to dominate the collective imagination, several fan and media reactions have highlighted the viral impact of certain Season 2 episodes, even describing a finale that literally “broke the internet” in online discussions.
There is one caveat, however: this success does not yet put Solo Leveling at the absolute top of Crunchyroll’s YouTube history. First place is reportedly still held by “Naruto and Sasuke vs Momoshiki” from Boruto, which has accumulated more than 73 million views. But the momentum is there, and 2026 is arriving with a packed schedule—including several highly anticipated juggernauts—that could reshuffle the rankings. Meanwhile, although Season 3 has not been officially announced, the universe continues to expand through the game Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive on PC and Xbox PC, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions scheduled for release sometime in 2026.
