Shinichiro Nariie’s manga, titled See You Tomorrow at the Food Court, will soon be adapted into an anime scheduled for 2025. A preliminary visual has been revealed to accompany the announcement, offering a glimpse of the slice-of-life series’ quiet and humorous atmosphere. Its two heroines lead surprising double lives: one is passionate about mobile games, while the other is fascinated by urban legends and a YouTube channel.
The project notably brings together director Kazuomi Koga and series composer Jukki Hanada. The characters are designed by Kyuta Sakai, who is also the chief animation director, while Kana Utatane is handling the soundtrack. The series is being produced by Atelier Pontdarc, whose work aims to preserve the freshness of the original story.
The daily lives of these two students, who are considered opposites, become an unmissable rendezvous when they meet day after day in the same food court. Rumors, laughter and confidences punctuate their conversations, far removed from what everyone else imagines.
