The famous anime "Gintama" is returning to the big screen with a re-edited version titled "Gintama on Theater 2D: Kintama-hen". The film will be screened in theaters for a limited three-week run starting November 22. On this occasion, the main poster for this special event has been unveiled, promising fans an unforgettable experience.
This third film follows two previous feature-length films compiling the "Thorny" and "Courtesan of a Nation" arcs. The new installment focuses on the "Kintama" arc, originally broadcast in October 2012 and covering episodes 253 to 256 of the anime.
For fans of the series, Crunchyroll continues to stream the anime. As a reminder, "Gintama" is set in an Edo-period Japan invaded by aliens. Despite the country's modernization, one man, Gintoki Sakata, still embodies the spirit of the samurai, ready to take on every challenge with his companions.
