The Kingdom of Morocco welcomes, for the first time, the qualifying rounds of the WORLD COSPLAY SUMMIT! Starting in 2025, two Moroccan cosplayers will earn their place to represent Morocco in Japan at the world's largest cosplay gathering!

The World Cosplay Summit is an annual cosplay convention that promotes cultural and social exchange through Japanese pop culture. The convention is organized by TV Aichi and takes place in Nagoya, Japan. Since its creation in 2003, the World Cosplay Summit (WCS) has experienced significant growth. The event began modestly, but it has now seen the participation of cosplayers representing more than 40 countries across six continents. In 2023, approximately 1.96 million people attended the summit and its associated events.

Starting in 2025, Morocco joins the highly select list of countries that will host WCS qualifiers! All the news about this competition will be published on this site, and, if you are a cosplayer who would like to discuss and meet with the Moroccan community planning to participate in this event, a dedicated Facebook group has been created for the occasion!
