Toei Company officially announces the creation of Toei Games, a new in-house publishing label dedicated to the development and publication of original games, with a clear priority: focusing on new IPs rather than relying solely on its established franchises.

The first titles are expected as early as 2026. The launch will initially take place on PC via Steam, before gradually expanding to PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch. A logical direction for a company that now aims to make video games a strategic pillar of its business.

On the production side, Toei Games intends to bring together Japanese and international creators to design entirely new worlds. A first project is already in the works and will be revealed on April 24, setting the label on a tight schedule.

Chief Executive Officer Fumio Yoshimura presents this initiative as a means of global expansion through interactive media, capable of carrying stories beyond language barriers. A detail that will resonate with pixel art fans: the Toei Games logo was designed by Kairosoft, renowned for its retro-style simulations.
