Pocketpair recently unveiled a brand-new collaboration between its game Palworld and Terraria, the renowned game from Re-Logic. This partnership between two open worlds, combining 3D and 2D, has been announced for 2025. Few details have been revealed at this stage, but this alliance promises an exciting experience for fans of both universes. At the same time, Pocketpair also teased an imminent update for Palworld, hinting that interesting new content will be unveiled very soon.

This announcement comes a few weeks after a controversy involving Pocketpair and Nintendo. On November 8, Nintendo filed a lawsuit, accusing Pocketpair of infringing three patents. The Japanese company is seeking damages of 5 million yen each (approximately $32,000) from The Pokémon Company and Nintendo. Despite these accusations, Pocketpair has remained silent on the matter, refusing to respond to individual requests for information.

At Tokyo Game Show 2024, John "Bucky" Buckley, Pocketpair's global community manager, stated that this controversy would not affect their future plans. These comments, made before the details of the dispute became public, reflect the company's determination to pursue its ambitions despite the legal obstacles. This collaboration with Terraria could mark a major turning point in Palworld's history.
