The qualifiers for the WORLD COSPLAY SUMMIT 2025 in Morocco will take place on May 17 and 18, 2025 as part of the Meknes International Animation Film Festival. The World Cosplay Summit is an annual cosplay convention that promotes cultural and social exchange through Japanese pop culture. The convention is organized by TV Aichi and takes place in Nagoya, Japan. Since its creation in 2003, the World Cosplay Summit (WCS) has experienced significant growth. The event began modestly, but it has now seen the participation of cosplayers representing more than 40 countries across six continents. In 2023, approximately 1.96 million people attended the summit and its associated events.
