Netflix has unveiled a new English-language trailer for Blue Box Season 2, offering another look at the continuation of the anime series blending romance and sports. The platform confirmed that the new episodes will be available from October 4, 2026, exclusively on Netflix. As with the first season, viewers will be able to choose between a subtitled version and an English dub.

Adapted from Kouji Miura’s manga, the series follows Taiki Inomata, a member of his high school’s boys’ badminton team, who regularly trains alongside Chinatsu Kano, a basketball player he has long been in love with. Their relationship changes when Chinatsu comes to live with Taiki’s family, forcing the two teenagers to navigate their feelings while pursuing their respective sporting ambitions.

This second season will continue the gradual development of their relationship. The new trailer notably highlights their growing closeness, while hinting at several emotional complications that are likely to disrupt their daily lives and personal goals. The series should therefore continue to balance athletic competition, romance and character development.

Daisuke Sako is directing this new season. Ahead of its October 4 release, the entirety of the first season of Blue Box remains available on Netflix. The series is also part of the platform’s 2026 anime lineup, which includes several new productions and returning titles scheduled throughout the year.
