Bandai Card Games has officially unveiled NARUTO CARD GAME, a new trading card game inspired by the iconic universe created by Masashi Kishimoto. Designed for strategy enthusiasts and competitive players, the title aims to offer a new experience centered on the Naruto franchise, with a worldwide release planned for 2027. The announcement also confirms Bandai’s intention to strengthen its presence in the international trading card game market, a sector that is already highly popular among anime, manga and geek communities.

Before its global launch, NARUTO CARD GAME will make its public debut at Gen Con 2026, which will be held from July 30 to August 2 in Indianapolis. Visitors will be able to experience the game’s very first tutorial sessions, specially designed to introduce beginners to its mechanics. These free demonstrations will allow participants to try out demo decks and learn the basics of the gameplay before the official release.

To mark the event, Bandai will offer several exclusive bonuses to participants in the tutorial sessions. Players will notably be able to receive a promotional card, CP-001 Chakra Card -Gen Con 2026 Ver.-, a special bag, a sticker, as well as a purchase ticket for an official playmat planned for the 2027 release. Visitors to the NARUTO CARD GAME booth will also be able to obtain certain goodies, while supplies last each day.

The announcement is accompanied by a new key visual, a teaser video, a commemorative illustration and a message from Masashi Kishimoto, who was delighted to see the world of Naruto continue to expand through cards. Further information, particularly about the card designs and the game’s roadmap, will be unveiled on July 29, just before Gen Con opens. With more than 250 million copies of the manga in circulation worldwide, Naruto remains one of the most powerful franchises in Japanese pop culture.
