Netflix has unveiled a new teaser trailer for One Piece: Into the Grand Line, the second season of the live-action series adapted from Eiichiro Oda’s manga. The video offers a glimpse of the new sets and characters, with a notable focus on Reverse Mountain, and above all confirms eagerly awaited information: the series will return to the platform on March 10, 2026.
Production on season 2 began in July 2024 and filming has now wrapped. Eiichiro Oda specified that the story will cover the adventure through the Drum Island arc, passing through Loguetown, Reverse Mountain and Twin Cape, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden and finally Drum Island. This promises a steadily expanding adventure and a variety of iconic locations for the crew.
Behind the scenes, Joe Tracz (Percy Jackson and the Olympians) joins the project as writer, executive producer and co-showrunner alongside Matt Owens, while Steve Maeda remains an executive producer; Owens announced his departure after production on season 2 ends in order to focus on his mental health. The cast is expanding with, among others, Callum Kerr (Smoker), Julia Rehwald (Tashigi), Rigo Sanchez (Dragon), Charithra Chandran (Miss Wednesday/Vivi), Joe Manganiello (Mr. 0/Crocodile), Lera Abova (Miss All Sunday/Nico Robin), and Mikaela Hoover, the English voice and facial capture performer for Chopper. A third season is already in production (featuring Bon Clay, Portgas D. Ace…), while season 1, which launched in August 2023 (8 episodes), also won awards at the Children’s & Family Emmy Awards.
