The new installment will be released in North American theaters on October 11, 2024, with tickets already on sale. Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will handle international distribution, including in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The production is directed by Tensai Okamura and supervised by Kohei Horikoshi, the original author.

The film’s story takes place after the intense battle between the heroes and villains. As Deku and his Class 1-A classmates continue fighting to maintain peace, a mysterious character calling himself "Dark Might" makes his appearance. Although he resembles All Might, his intentions are dark. Aided by Anna, a young woman with an unknown Quirk, and the criminal Gollini family, Dark Might threatens to destroy the world.

In this universe, where 80% of the population possesses supernatural powers known as "Quirks," Izuku Midoriya, a powerless young boy, does not give up on his dream of becoming a hero. Despite the challenges, he strives to follow in the footsteps of the greatest heroes, and his journey is both moving and inspiring for fans of the series, which began in 2014 and ended in 2024.
