Disney's description of the anime takes us to Year Seven of the Kowa Period, in the former Hokkaido block occupied by the Neo-Britannian Empire. The mercenary brothers Ash and Rozé, who possess exceptional combat and strategic skills, are at the heart of this story of resistance against the empire to save Princess Sakuya.
